About Soli Socks
Our Story
Born on the reformer. Built for the way you move.
Soli Socks started the way the best ideas do — out of frustration on the reformer. As a pilates instructor in San Diego, our founder spent years watching clients slip, adjust, and lose focus mid-class because their grip socks just weren't doing the job. The grips were in the wrong place. The fit was off. And no one seemed to be designing these socks for the people who actually teach and practice pilates every single day.
So she built something better.
Why Grip Placement Matters
Most grip socks place traction dots across the ball of the foot — designed for yoga, not for the dynamic footwork of pilates and barre. On the reformer, the heel is your anchor. It's where you push, stabilize, and control every movement.
Soli Socks are engineered with grips high on the heel, exactly where you need support most. The result? Better connection to the equipment, more confidence in your movement, and fewer distractions between you and your practice.
Made for the Studio. Rooted in San Diego.
San Diego is a city that moves. From sunrise reformer sessions to beachside barre classes, the wellness culture here is real, active, and uncompromising. Soli Socks was built in that spirit — functional, clean, and made to keep up with the people who take their practice seriously.
We're not a big brand trying to check a box. We're instructors and practitioners who live this, and we make socks that reflect that commitment.
What Makes Soli Different

"I made these socks because I needed them. And once I did, I knew every instructor and student in my studio needed them too."
